Even the rain couldn’t deter crowds from gathering to support restaurants, vendors and other businesses at the Taste of Fairfield on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the historic Delmar Hotel.  Organized by Town Vibe/Fairfield Magazine, guests sampled fine food and drink from over thirty locals restaurants and vendors.

The Taste of Fairfield gave hospitality professionals an opportunity to showcase epicurean delights, fine wine, beer and spirits in a casual setting.  The event provided a venue for local businesses to better connect with the community in a fun environment.  Chefs exhibited their creativity and artistry in order to entice future customers while community members became better acquainted with restaurants in the area and met hospitality professionals face-to-face.

Unlimited tasting opportunities were available from a variety of local businesses like: Fairfield Cheese Co., Riverside Baking Co. and Aspetuck Brew Lab.  Some of the talented restaurants that participated were: Toto, The Whelk, Geronimo, The Little Pub, and Brick & Wood.  The event was made possible from the generous contributions of sponsors like: Black Rock Galleries, Atria Senior Living, Land Rover of Milford, Sacred Heart University, Yumi EcoSolutions and Balducci’s.
