Located inside Le Meridien New York, Allora Fifth Ave serves the finest Italian American cuisine. The restaurant opened in March 2023 and is the second location for the Elio and Sons Restaurant Group.
As someone who grew up working in the hospitality industry, I pay attention to the details. Like a well-oiled machine, the staff is so efficient from beginning to end. Johnny not only remembered me from our previous visit, but also my nut and fish allergy. Glasses were filled regularly; plates were removed promptly, and everyone was incredibly attentive. Chef-owner Elio Albanese is hands on. He served our appetizer, attended to guests and could even be seen serving tables side favorites like: Caesar salad, Grilled lamb chops, Steak Diane and Branzino.
The menu boasts a selection of both traditional and contemporary Italian fare. Every dish is made with fresh ingredients showcasing culinary expertise. During the two visits we were able to sample a variety of dishes. Specials change weekly so remember to ask the server for the daily offerings.

The ambiance is set with dim lighting, and classic music selections by artists like Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra creating a sophisticated, fine-dining atmosphere. As part of the upscale dining experience, waiters wear tuxedos and provide impeccable service. Their motto is, “Nothing but the best” and after visiting Allora Fifth Ave, I understand why.
