Owner, Enzo Bruno and partners recently celebrated three years in business. Since 2021, Divina has continued to thrive within the bustling Fairfield County hospitality community.
Outdoor seating is now open on Summer Street. Take advantage of the summer weather. Guests can dine al fresco choosing from one of the many tables on their spacious patio. “Divina brings a vibrant atmosphere coupled with authentic Italian flavors comparable to restaurants in New York without having to trek into the city,” said Sean McGowan. With so many culinary options it’s nice to know that you’ll always get a delicious meal and attentive service at Divina.
We began our dining experience with two martinis: a seasonal Cucumber and a traditional Dirty with Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives. For appetizers, we tried a half a dozen Oysters, Tuna Crudo and Octopus. For entrees, we shared the Caesar salad, Ribeye and Chicken Parmigiana. Three of the items ordered were signature dishes and for good reason. The Tuna Crudo was a fresh and light mixture of pickled cucumbers, blistered jalapenos and sesame ginger. A refreshing and healthy dish. The octopus was smoky and tender. The Ribeye was served with an avocado salad and roasted potatoes. The Chicken Parmigiana was lightly breaded, with the appropriate sauce and cheese ratio and moist chicken.
At the end of the meal, we were lucky to have met a local celebrity, Trixie the Pompom. Trixie is not only adorable, well-braved, but also enjoys dining al fresco in the new seating area at Divina.
