On the final day of the New York City Wine and Food Festival (NYCWFF) carnivores gathered to enjoy a meat lover’s paradise at the Backyard BBQ presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats and National Beef. Award winning chef and the talent behind Bizarre Foods, Andrew Zimmern hosted the afternoon at Pier 86, home of the Intrepid Museum. The location presented picturesque waterfront views, some of the best BBQ in the city and a surprise rainbow. Guests sampled brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, premium Pat LaFrieda steaks along with classic sides, desserts, beer, wine and cocktails.

The Backyard BBQ was just one of eighty events scheduled around the city in the four-day food and wine extravaganza. Recognized as the largest wine and food festival in NYC, the Food Network and Cooking Channel NYCWFF has raised nearly $14 million in the past thirteen years to assist organizations like God’s Love We Deliver and Food Bank for New York City as well as build awareness to end hunger. There’s nothing better than an epicurean event that not only feeds your belly but nourishes your soul.

Mark your calendars now. You won’t want to miss the ultimate foodie festival in the Big Apple. See you in October 2022!
