We got engaged! What better way to celebrate a special event than a night at the Conrad?! The Conrad New York Downtown has a total of 463 rooms, all of which are suites. Located in lower Manhattan, this 5-star luxury hotel is in close proximity to the city’s most iconic attractions with views of the NYC skyline, Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty. The hotel is close to some of the city’s most quintessential neighborhoods, such as Tribeca and SoHo and just a few steps away from the One World Trade Centre building, as well as the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.

Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by an impressively large atrium and suspended sculpture. The centerpiece of the lobby is an art installation called Loopy Doopy (also the name of the hotel’s rooftop bar), a 100-foot wall drawing by conceptual artist Sol LeWitt.
The rooms were large, and all suites had a separate living area. The bedroom had a king bed and there was a shower room with a rainfall showerhead while the rest of the bathroom was in another room. There was a wet bar area in between the bedroom and living room with an espresso machine and mini bar. The living room had a large HDTV and a desk area for working and charging electronics. The bed was one of the most comfortable mattresses we’ve ever experienced and the black out curtains helped us sleep in on a lazy Sunday morning. Our suite had floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views overlooking the Hudson River. The property provided both serenity and accessibility on our trip to the city.
